We first met Jake and John when our house was a FSBO. ( For Sale By Owner)  They had a client that was looking for a house like ours.  Jake was thinking “outside the box” when she called and asked to bring the clients over.  Although that visit didn’t result in a sale, we were impressed enough with the Gees to consider them when we finally decided to list our home. 

When we did list our home, we talked with and got proposals from several realtors who specialized in the Canyon Lake area.  We selected them based on information we gathered and recommendations from friends.  Of the group, the Gees impressed us the most with their knowledge of the area and the local market, their feel for property values here, and the things that affect them, and the quality and breadth of their advertising.  We thought their advertising approach was particularly effective – not just putting ads out everywhere but targeting the most likely buyers’ markets.  We were also impressed with them personally.  They have a sincere, straightforward approach that I think appeals to both a buyer and a seller. 

When we listed our home with them, we found them to be very hardworking and proactive.  They gave us good ideas, and they listened to ours.  They also continually asked for input on how they were doing and if they could do anything more. 

We were very pleased with the job they did for us, and we genuinely enjoyed working with them.  We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new home or thinking about listing a home for sale.

To whom it may concern,

After a 26 year career that kept the family moving every couple of years my husband retired from his job and headed back
to his home state of Texas.  We have lived in many homes scattered about the U.S. and a couple foreign countries too. 

 

With so many homes under our belts we had built quite a collection of must haves for our “Forever House”. As we did
our web searches of homes and locations two smiling faces kept popping up on our screen.  Jake and John! They were

the lucky agents to receive our call requesting help on our search for our “Forever House”.  When they did not hang up

on us and were still friendly after hearing our long list of must haves we knew they were the agents for us!  However,

I must mention we did fear that they were just telling us what we wanted to hear and could just drag us along. 

We gave Jake and John a list of about 25 must haves and 60 days to do it in.  All I can say is that I am happy we did not
pay them by the hour or mileage. They traveled a huge area looking at many, many homes taking notes, photo’s and
calling us every step of the way.  Not once did the words escape their lips, “We cannot find your forever house”, instead
they said “We will find it”. ….and they did!  They got us 23 out of 25 must haves.  Honestly, we knew we would be lucky
if we got half. 

Here is the amazing part of this team, THEY LISTENED and they remembered!  When we would discuss a home or
property they gave us all the information and allowed us to make the decision.  Never once did they try change our minds
or direct us towards one home or another.

We are so happy in our “Forever House/Home” and give all the credit to Jake and John.  They made what could have
been one of the most stressful times of our lives a good experience. It was a pleasure to be around them or to speak
with them on the telephone.  They are a team that you can trust!

I met Jake Gee when I stopped in her office looking for a map of the Canyon Lake area.
Not only did she provide me with a map but a list of potential homes for me with directions to each.
She came and showed me several that I found interesting. I was living in Georgetown, Tx at the time
and was more than 100 miles from their office. John and Jake located properties and sent me the information.
I would then contact them regarding the ones I wanted to see and when I was available.
I began to feel that not only were they my real estate agents but my friends. When I found a home
and made an offer, they were as excited as I was. My former home closed before my new one
was available and Jake and John even offered me a place to stay! I consider them very dear friends
and we have a meal and visit as frequently as our schedules will allow. If I had to describe them in a few words,
it would be caring, considerate and my friend!
